Always-on white good sampling

The Slovenian white goods manufacturer faced slow sales of newly launched products. This was due to tough competition in their price segment and comparatively low brand awareness. An effect of low sales numbers was a comparatively low influx of native reviews for the new products. The low and not fast enough increasing number of reviews in return had a negative impact on the sales. A classic catch-twenty-two. With the help of a tailored always-on sampling campaign strategy, a timely aligned influx of authentic reviews during the launch was guaranteed.

The customized sampling program generated within the first five months more than 500 reviews for over 45 different products. The reviews were not only submitted on Gorenje’s own website but were also submitted or syndicated to key retailers as well as Google Shopping. With a record-low cost-per-review of 78€ the sampling program was a true success as product rankings and sales numbers improved.
